I’m Planning A 3-Week Trip To Europe!

I’m so excited to take you all on this new journey of mine – planning a 3-week trip to Europe! I’ve flown across the pond once before for a summer family vacation 12 years ago. We went to Zurich, Nice, Monte Carlo, Venice, Tuscany, Florence and Rome, and it was life-changing! I have since been very eager to return.

Europe
A stunning view I had in Tuscany. Not bad for 2006 cameras right?!

We were there during the World Cup, watching the games on TV in other languages and hearing the town roar with cheers. We flew over the Swiss Alps, and I’m pretty sure I took 100 pictures out the plane window. We visited the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome at night, a glowing, jaw-dropping sight. We drove to wineries in Tuscany and got really lost (those roundabouts are intense). We drove around the French Riviera, staying in a small town outside of Nice called Ville Franche Sur Mer. Although there are some close contenders (like Napa & Seattle), it is to this day the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. Needless to say, we had countless incredible meals and big laughs along the way that I’ll never forget.

This time around, it’s going to be a bit different. I’m traveling with my boyfriend who is the best travel partner and who I have been with for the majority of cities I’ve covered here on the blog. We are planning to visit London, Brussels/Bruges, Rotterdam/Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna and Budapest. It’s going to be very different for me, unlike anywhere I’ve ever been, and I couldn’t be more excited! From the different languages and currencies, to new cuisines and culture. I have a lot to learn!

I’ve been reading so many travel guides, sites, blogs and reviews lately to gather tips and useful information as well as recommendations. Do you have any for me?!

Here on the blog, you can look forward to following along the steps I take in planning this trip: booking travel, organizing recommendations, putting together an itinerary, packing tips, travel gear, and so much more! Every step start to finish, and of course travel guides to follow.
