I’m kicking off this sunny Monday morning with a post about coffee shops, bakeries, and breakfast spots in Orlando. Each of these places were recently influenced by friends and social media follows. Given the #influenced nature of this post, I’ll be giving shout outs and sharing credit where credit is due. I don’t know about you, but the start of a new month has me re-energized and motivated like the January 1st effect of a new year. This month also happens to be my birthday month, hooray!

Winter Park Biscuit Company in Audubon
When my friend Ali and I recently went to Plantees, she said I have to try Winter Park Biscuit Company in East End Market. Apparently their plant-based “chik” is excellent! I’ve had this spot on my list already, so this personal recommendation bumped it up the list.
Sugar Dough Bake House in Audubon
Located in the same plaza as Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, Sugar Dough Bake House is a new-ish bakery that has caught my eye, although nothing will replace P is for Pie (RIP). They specialize in made-from-scratch, Asian-inspired French pastries. Jenna from @menusandmakers recently posted about the pistachio croissant, which sounds very up my alley!
Light on the Sugar Bakery in Winter Park
Light on the Sugar is a family-owned bakery and coffee shop offering coffee, tea, and pastries with an Asian twist. I got a matcha there once before, but am eager to try their cream puffs after my friend Allison raved about them. Say no more!
KOS Coffee Shop in Winter Park
Quite possibly the place that has been on my list the longest, KOS is a Nordic coffee roastery and cafe my friend Katie @KloMarketing recommended. I’ve tried to go multiple times but have struck out since my Winter Park outings seem to be in the afternoon, or on a Monday or Tuesday when they aren’t open. It will happen this spring – I’m determined!
Stasio’s Italian Deli in Milk District
One of my favorite things about Orlando is that we’ve become “regulars” at certain local spots, and as a result, taken notice of and met other regulars. One of which, is our friend Mike! We got on the topic of Stasio’s one day, a mutual favorite, and he raved about their breakfast sandwiches. I’ve only ever indulged in their lunch sandwiches, so I’m excited to go back and try their breakfast sandwiches. I love a good breakfast sandwich! Hellloooo Deli Desires!
Easy Luck Coffee & Bodega in Milk District
My boyfriend and I have enjoyed working from coffee shops lately. So far, Lobos and Foxtail have been our go-to’s. While we’ve been to Whippoorwill for craft beer multiple times, we have yet to try Easy Luck, which shares the same space. It seems like a great environment to work from! I saw someone (I can’t remember/find who, bummer) post about a drink of theirs recently and it reminded me how much I want to try it.
